As we look ahead to February 2026, one event remains firmly on our calendar MIDO, the world’s leading international eyewear tradeshow at Fiera Milano Rho. With the Winter Olympics set to begin in Italy the week following the show, Milan will be at the center of global attention, innovation, and momentum and MIDO sits right at the start of that energy.


MIDO continues to be the global meeting point for the eyewear industry. From independent designers to established manufacturers, this is where future trends are introduced and direction is set. It is not just about what is new, but what will last.


For 2026, our focus is on identifying innovation that delivers real value for patients and practices across Southwestern Ontario. Advances in lens technology, materials, and smart eyewear continue to accelerate, and MIDO allows us to evaluate these developments firsthand and with intention.


Design remains central. Independent brands continue to influence global style by pairing creativity with function. That balance of aesthetics, comfort, and durability guides the eyewear we ultimately bring home.


Most importantly, MIDO 2026 is about connection. Strengthening partnerships, building new relationships, and ensuring the eyewear we offer reflects both thoughtful design and clinical care.
